Safety & accuracy
What everyPilot’s numbers are — and aren’t.
- everyPilot is a record-keeping and planning aid. No aviation authority approves logbook apps, and everyPilot is not approved, certified or endorsed by the FAA, EASA, the UK CAA, Transport Canada, CASA or any other authority, operator or insurer.
- It is not for navigation, flight planning or flight operations.
- Currency, recency, flight and duty limits, rest, night time, time zones, pay and totals are estimates from what you enter and our reading of the rules. Check them against the regulations, your operator’s manuals and your records — you and your operator remain responsible.
- AI and on-device page reading can misread handwriting: check every row before saving.
- Endorsement templates are sample wording from FAA AC 61-65; instructors are responsible for their endorsements.
- Signed entries are locked and changes show, following the elements of FAA AC 120-78B, but each authority, employer or insurer decides whether it accepts electronic records and signatures. Some ask for printed, signed or certified copies — the printed logbook includes a certification line on every page.
- Keep backups, and paper or printed copies where your authority requires them.
